New material and areas of significant change in this 44th edition include:
· Inhalation antibiotics (Table 10F): An area of therapeutics increasingly important for treatment of cystic fibrosis and infection from highly resistant aerobic gram-negative bacilli. Photosensitivity (Table 10C) has been reworked for better practical use.
· Surgical prophylaxis (Table 15): Regimens have been updated to reflect newly published Guidelines.
