Minnesota Courthouses

Gilbertson, a retired architect, painted approximately 200 watercolors (some from photos) of 89 Minnesota courthouses, printed here in color. Organized alphabetically by county, each illustration is accompanied by architectural and construction information, location, material used, cost, and date built. Using information taken from The First 100 Years published by the Minnesota Bar Association, Gilbertson summarizes the history of each courthouse's construction and county where it is located.
