Home Is a Long Time Ago

A teenager's parents are killed in a tragic accident. The young man finishes school and enlists in the Marine Corps in 1951. Two wars and twenty years later he returns home as a single, highly decorated Major and medically retired. He has the means to start a new life and does only to find his old guardian, the fisherman, Ponzio Vaccaro waiting with a plan and living with ghosts of the past.
