For nearly three decades, Byron Crawford served at the Kentucky Columnist for the Louisville Courier-Journal, tracking down more than 4,500 stories in that time. These stories are described by Byron as “footnotes,” the underlying fine print of Kentucky’s people and places in words and pictures -- not the headline stories of the day, but stories that capture the essence and unique flavor of everyday people, places or moments throughout the Commonwealth.
