The Flight of the Arctic Tern

First published in 1952, The Flight of the Arctic Tern chronicles the travels of husband and wife Constance and Harmon "Bud" Helmericks, beginning with the purchase of their first airplane and the construction of their log cabin in the Brooks Range in the wild Alaskan wilderness. Life was often precarious, and the couple flew as far as the Canadian Arctic islands on their travels, their 16mm movie camera and Connie's artful writing documenting their adventures. This new edition of The Flight of the Arctic Tern includes a new edition from their daughter, author Jean Aspen.
