William Manchee is a Texan who practiced law for 20 years before he discovered his passion for writing. Now practicing in Dallas with his son, Manchee has written ten novels since 1995 including the latest entitled Deadly Distractions, Vol. 5 of the Stan Turner Mystery Series. The series was inspired by many actually cases in which he was involved. His other works include Death Pact, Plastic Gods, and a non-fiction book called Yes, We're Open.
