About the author: Melinda Johnson took Saint Lydia's name as an adult convert to the
Orthodox Christian faith. The desire to know her patron saint better watered the roots of this book. Melinda is a freelance writer and editor, a Navy chaplain's wife, and a mother. She lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest.
