Pride of Columbia

The Pride of Columbia is the initial book in the RivalReads football series. The main character (a young boy with a familiar name to Tiger fans—Truman), while enjoying a walk through the MU campus, is challenged to friendly football game by a “rival” dressed in blue. When Truman is faced with a little adversity, he looks to the Tigers for inspiration—and ultimately prevails. Young MU fans will enjoy the story of Truman’s triumph, while older Mizzou faithful can connect with the authentic MU settings, uniforms and depictions of Memorial stadium and other campus landmarks.
