A glance inside of the tormented mind of a person experiencing extreme trauma in many areas of life and having to begin over. Experiencing the deterioration of the mental state of her husband to protection orders and a divorce, Sowl captures vividly the feelings of pain, loss, joy and heartbreak on the road to recovery after living in an abusive relationship and moving on with herself and her children.
