The Foundations of Islam

If you want to understand Islam, you need to read the books that are its foundation-Koran, Sira (life of Mohammed) and Hadith (his traditions). The Foundations of Islam Self-Study Course is the easiest way to systemically study these books.

The Foundations course is a training system with a philosophy and a method. Our philosophy of teaching is based on facts, not opinion. We use the same primary texts that experts use, but they have been simplified and are easy to read. The Foundations course includes this study guide and three other texts-Mohammed's biography, his traditions and a Koran.

Facts are hard to remember, but a story is easy. The first book you study is the life of Mohammed, an incredible story you will never forget. The reason that our Korans are easy to understand is that Mohammed's life is integrated into them. Then the Koran makes sense. What you learn is easy to remember because it all fits together.
