As we meet the Days, a family of five living in suburban Chicago, the three Day children's excitement over news of a famous aunt is quickly dashed by the fact that their father is estranged from his sister over a mysterious falling out he is unwilling to discuss. Sometimes You Can Go Home follows Isabella, Jessica, and Ian Day and their new-found cousin Violet as they try to uncover their parents past history and work to reunite them as a family.
