New Beginnings

Victoria thought--It's time for me to make my own decisions. I'm not a child anymore. Mother is gone. Yes, Father still has plans for me, but I have an opportunity now to do something for myself if I take the job that's been offered to me.

She got on a train and headed to Plainview. She certainly wasn't ready to handle what she found when she arrived.

Carol Root is retired and lives in New York State. She enjoys the Adirondack Mountains and lakes. In the winter, home is in Florida. She is married and has four grown children.
