In this book the author has a conversation with one of his favorite poets, Edna St. Vincent Millay. The author often kids Millay, sometimes he chastises her, at other times he agrees with Millay, and often the author gives Millay advice. The author replies to many of Millay's poems, and does so with respect and admiration.
