The Sun of Gibeon

The Reverend Gideon Snow, Chaplain of Company D, 26th Alabama Infantry during the Civil War, is more concerned with his soldiers staying out of trouble and making it to heaven, than he is of the next battle. But when a decision is made allowing chaplains onto the battlefield – after all they should be with their men – the Reverend Gideon Snow discovers that in order to get his soldiers to heaven he must lead them through the battle first.
