A Friendship Tested

Jon Batchelor wants to find someone in his life that he can trust, but years of hurt from a broken home and failed placements caused him to keep most people at arm's length. Even his best friend Andy, a solid Christian, could only make so much impact. It is only through God's providence that Jon comes into contact with people in places that he would not have chosen to go.

Every time that Jon begins to make progress toward asking the Lord into his heart, his strengthening foundation is shaken by significant life events that serve to dishearten the young man. Discouragement is one of Satan's greatest weapons in his arsenal, and it is God's permissive will that allows Jon to be tested and refined. Will the young man be able to overcome the trials that he faces and eventually choose God over the world?
