Moreton's quiet, minimal pencil drawings beautifully evoke a nostalgic longing for a time long gone. Moreton is a master of the minimal cartooning wave originated by John Porcellino.

Simon Moreton is an artist and zine-maker based in Bristol, England. He has been self-publishing his acclaimed Smoo Comics since 2008. He has been published by Avery Hill (UK), Retrofit (US), and Sotokaramita (Japan), and in numerous anthologies including kuš! comics and DECADENCE . His art has been exhibited internationally.
