Education that does not enable or include character development is miseducation. Although education may improve a person's lot in life or make one better-off in a number of ways, if education does not make one a better person a grave injustice would have been done to the 'educated' and to the people whose lives such a person will affect. Much of what obtains in society bears a correlation with values, perceptions of personhood and notions of right and wrong. If you want to uplift a people or an individual for that matter, you have to turn the spotlight on perceptions of self, conceptions of personhood, and on values, and challenge notions of right and wrong. Values Vibes provides an avenue through which the gap between intellectual and character development may be bridged.
