A Mother and Her Prophet: Love's Tapestry

A Mother and Her Prophet is the discovery of radical love and sacrifice. From generation to generation, God has knit in the chambers of a mother's heart an incredible and overwhelming love and devotion for each "gift" she receives, regardless of how her gift is packaged.

Woven within the pages of this book is the illustration of Isaiah 61:3 (NIV), "He will give them a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his glory."

We are all familiar with life's struggles, disappointments and horrific pain that comes as a result of traumatic life events. When we are broken and see no way out, we become bound walking aimlessly, lost in darkness.

In their journey, a mother and her son experience face to face encounters in the beautiful discovery of the mercy, grace and unconditional love of the Creator, Almighty God, that brings forth beauty from ashes, eternal redemption, restoration, healing and wholeness.

It's evident that love has a name and love has a face in the person of Jesus Christ. The message of the gospel is "good news". The gospel helps mankind see that we don't have to remain in our pain and brokenness. Instead, we can be set free from our prison cell and live in limitless possibilities; because with God, all things are possible.
