Mormon Doctrines in Light of the Bible

By what authority doest thou these things? Since there are so many creeds and religions in this world, the question posed in Mark 11 is an important one.

All doctrine, whether it be Mormon, Catholic, Buddhist, or Baptist is judged in one court of appeals - God's word. If a doctrine lines up with scripture, it is of God; if not, it is of man or Satan. There are no other possibilities (Is. 8:20).

Every religion has a foundation; do the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints reflect a biblical foundation, or are they cleverly devised fables?
