Papa is on the Moon

When his grandfather passes away from Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS), young Alex knows where to find his beloved Papa--on the moon. Determined to see his Papa again, he builds a rocket ship, packs a lunch of peanut butter sandwiches and travels to the moon. Reunited with his Papa, Alex learns a lesson of hope and love and returns home to his family knowing that his grandfather will always be there for him, watching over him.

Proceeds from the sale of Papa is on the Moon will benefit the Robert Packard Center for ALS research at Johns Hopkins in its quest to solve the disease that afflicted Papa: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease.”
