Somewhere in a steaming hot desert a man awakens with a deadly plastic bag tied around his head. Only a tiny slit caused by a sharp stone when his unconscious body was tossed from a moving car allowed him to breath enough to remain alive. He had no recollection as to how he got there, in fact he didn't even know who he was. He had no identification, no wallet, no papers of any kind, and no memory. Someone does not want the stranger to discover his true identity and they want him dead, but who?

Somewhere an extremely wealthy man is missing and his wife dutifully files a missing persons report with the police. But to no avail, the rich man has gone missing without a trace.

The recovering man survives multiple attempts on his life and eventually comes face to face with his would-be murderer, only to discover it is the person he would least suspect.
