Tommy and the Tremors, a popular ‘60s garage band on the verge of success after recording a studio single and fielding offers from booking agents, breaks up and falls into obscurity. In 2011, Kim Hess, a young investigative reporter, aims to discover what happened to the most talented band to have ever come out of Bower City. As she researches the band’s history and the lives of its eclectic group of musicians she discovers what the missing decades have brought to each of them. While doing so she ultimately reconnects the band members and helps them rediscover their love for music and each other. And more importantly, they come to the realization that—You’re never too old to play rock ‘n’ roll!
