Cocktails and Prayers

Cocktails and Prayers is a collection of family stories mainly centered on the family's experiences at Hilton Head, interspersed with brief sections dealing with the changes that occurred at Hilton Head during this period of time and afterward. This memoir is the result of my desire to recapture a positive way of living enriched by religion, positive family values, close friendships, and the transformation of Hilton Head from 1953 to 1962. The book is filled with humorous anecdotes and life lessons learned through my adventures and experiences as a kid growing up in a large southern family in the 1950s.
