After a huge storm sweeps through the valley, the Nocturnal Brigade wakes up to find that their world is in danger. A strange black goo known as the Dark is covering all the plants and animals, and seems to be making them sick. In order to stop the Dark from spreading any further, Dawn, Tobin, and Bismark must travel upstream to its source, and enlist some unlikely allies along the waySimone the snake and Rusty the blue crab. They'll need all the help they can find to stop this relentless villain.
