Cain is back and he's made a deal with the devil. They possess a clown, to do their darkest bidding. Their plan to destroy the Montenegro-McCain Clan with a growing army of possessed humans proves successful until a Sorcerer joins the Vampires: Alix Lemire, the last of the Sorcerer race.

Betrayed, the Clan's Chinmere communication lead, Eve, runs away, setting in motion an ominous omen.
