More Than Words

Aidan MacKay may be cool, calm, and collected in his Human Resources position at his Army buddy's toy company, but his battle with PTSD is anything but easy. Things change when he hires voiceover artist Skye Galen for several company projects. Her voice is calm, soothing, and just what Aidan needs. He's determined to meet her.

Skye has her own demons. After being burned in a fire, she's become a near-recluse, ashamed of her looks and afraid of being an object of pity. She's intrigued by Aidan and yearns for more, but doesn't think he can see past her scars. Still, she'll have to brave meeting him if she wants her lucrative contract with his company to continue.

Sparks fly, and they begin a tentative relationship. Aidan fears his PTSD may scare Skye away, but the more he gets to know her, the more he's convinced she's the one for him. Skye is falling in love with the gentle giant but worries her fears and insecurities will eventually push him away.

Aidan doesn't want to lose the one person who brings him true peace. They need each other. Can he convince Skye that love is strong enough to heal their broken pieces?
