Racing Luck

Danni Scott hasn't had the easiest life. Her infant son passed away, and only weeks later, her husband was killed in a freak racing accident. Hours before her husband's death, Danni argued with him, and she hasn't been able to escape the guilt and blame she feels.

But years later, she likes the quiet, academic life she's settled into. She has bundled her emotions in a tight ball and tries her best to ignore them, and so far, it has gotten her through each day.

Friends in her classic car club introduce Danni to Ashley Jenkins, and their mutual attraction is immediate. She thinks it may be time for a little romance-until she discovers what Ashley does for a living. He's a top-tier stock-car racer.
