A Splinter in the Heart

Jeri Jacobs' life is torn apart when soldiers arrive at her door telling her that her son went AWOL during Operation Desert Storm then killed himself in a hotel in France. The only personal items found at the scene was a collection of verses written by an obscure WWI poet. Jeri's search for answers takes her to England, Scotland, and France where she finally discovers the truth about both mens' deaths.
