What do you do when you find out that, not only, are the stories that you've always believed to be only myths and legends true, but that you are destined to be part of them?

Telara and her friends are just average teenagers- until they find out that they aren't. They are descendants of Greek Gods and Goddesses, fated to be Guardians; protectors of the world and all supernatural and mortal beings in it. But first, they'll have to learn to harness their newly discovered powers; thank the Gods there's a place for them to train.

Sanctuary will teach them to control and use their powers to protect the innocent from the Shadow Master; an evil being who wants to enslave the world and drain it of its magic, leaving only darkness in its wake. However, no Guardian has ever returned from a battle against the Shadow Master. Do Telara, Tia, Chance, Vanna, Chad, and IQ have what it takes to win against this great evil, or will they fall like all the others who came before them?
