Mental illness happens everywhere in the world. It doesn't just HURT a specific group, or culture. It HURTS everyone.

"The Cross was inspired by God when he spoke to my heart to share stories to overcome brokenness and unworthiness which HOPE replaced. HOPE is freely given to ALL of US.

God has given me a purpose and a passion to bring awareness to a subject that is dear to my heart. The love of my life suffers with a mental disorder. I would like to shine more LIGHT on this subject since I think more people than we know suffer with some type of mental illness which can be seasonal, short or long term. I would like to develop a program and raise more awareness where mental health is concerned. Developing a mental wellness program requires funding. 20% of the author's proceeds of this novel will become a start as well as anyone feeling a tug at their heart to get involved either with funding, volunteering, education on this matter, or helping get this program off the ground. I think God wants a program (organization) to be global." - Julie Fields
