The Bible’s authority, combined with its long and complex journey, has led to its misuse and abuse in seemingly equally diverse ways. Is the Bible at Fault?explores how the Bible’s been handled throughout history through sometimes colorful but often overlooked stories and contexts. Some of the subjects include:  religious cults, Bible riots, apartheid, slavery, Western imperialism, Nazis, environmental exploitation, The English Reformation, Armenian Genocide, witch hunts, the Jonestown massacre, and many others. Each of these will be considered not only as a historical error, problematic biblical use, or tragedy, but as a lesson for us today of how high the stakes can be when we get the Bible wrong.
