The Bassy family suffers division, financial pitfalls and extreme heartache as they grapple with the angry, violent and sudden changes of Mr. Bassy.

Eventually, the new Bassy family manages to dispel the darkness of family turmoil with the light of genuine family love, stubborn hope for the future and firm faith in God.
