Murder in Flatrock Nebraska

In a violent fit of rage, Harold Hershberger murders his three small children, and he intends to kill his wife Susanne as well. He tries to blame the murders of his children on an unknown assailant, but Chief Detective Wilhelm Gulliver suspects that Hershberger isn’t telling the truth.

When Hershberger is sentenced to life in prison at a maximum security facility, all should be well. Susanne is rebuilding her life and might even be in love. Yet Hershberger relishes his new quiet environment and adjusts well to prison life. Within a short period of time, he becomes the leader of a dangerous prison gang and renews his vow to kill Susanne, and anyone who may try to stop him.

Maybe Harold will succeed after all. Is there anyone who will come to Susanne’s rescue? Is this the end of her life? Is her death now inevitable? Does evil overpower good, or will justice trump evil and serve the higher good?
