Drinks Are on the House

Metaphorically speaking, do you feel your life is in a drought? A prolonged period of abnormally low-range unhappiness revolving around painful relationships, lost earthly possessions, and friends? That’s exactly what happens in a drought. Rivers stop delivering normal levels of water. Crops fail, animals are affected, and eventually mankind. The woman in chapter four of St. John was in a drought. Her soul was dehydrated. Her heart was depleted. Her emotions were stuck. Yes, she was in a drought—until she encountered Jesus. From the very first sip of His love to the very last drop of her life-changing experience of her encounter with Him, she finally got the rain she was looking for.
