Being a good grandparent requires patience, flexibility, a sense of humor, and the skill to keep certain escapades of innocent mayhem a secret. Most of all, it requires a keen sense of the present so you can enjoy every moment as it is happening.

As the grandparents of Kailyn and Sophia, our 13-year-old twin granddaughters, and Nicholas, our seven-year-old grandson, we are the bridge from our history, culture, and traditions to a new generation of our family. That's what Cooking With Mammie is all about.
