Joseph: The Journey Home

A trip to New York University with his brothers was supposed to be a dream come true-his entrance into the new world. Instead, Joseph's betrayal by his jealous brothers sends him to prison for terrible crime he didn't commit. Circumstances cause him to nearly lose his life but a miracle occurs and he is released. Besides being labeled a felon, Joseph is also Jewish and finds no cultural acceptance as he searches for a job. One thing Joseph does have is God and the words of his father. "The Lord has special plans for you. You were chosen to do something great." Visions in the form of dreams tell him that his father may be correct. The chance meeting of a former acquaintance years earlier leads Joseph towards the existence his dreams once promised; only now the result is a prosperous life and the love of a wonderful woman. Devastation hits the country causing massive levels of poverty, hunger, unemployment and political unrest. Joseph, being a man of great wealth and power, helps to save the lives of thousands. An unfortunate encounter with the very people who had betrayed him so many years ago force him to decide to either follow God down a path of forgiveness or live in the past. With the help of his new love, Joseph follows his heart and begins The Journey Home.
