Cara was born on Haven, a high-tech planet populated by women. Geir was born on Jord, a dangerous, barbaric planet where women are fought over and kept sequestered. Neither have had more than fleeting contact with the opposite sex.
When Cara crash lands on Jord and is rescued by Geir, he is determined to keep her for himself.
