If you’ve ever experienced a parent’s death, you know how devastating it can be. For Mary Delacerda, losing both parents could have destroyed her; however, she found gifts from God left behind. When Mary’s mother began a battle with cancer, she had no idea how long the road would be. After two bouts, everyone thought they were in the clear. However, on Valentine’s Day of 1992, cancer took Mary’s mother away unexpectedly. For months Mary struggled with God, but she soon found a ministry given by God. Years later, Mary’s father was also taken by cancer, leaving her feeling like an orphan. But in the midst of her pain, she turned to God, again finding a way to minister to others.
