Scottish Storyteller Marie Louise Cochrane aka "Mrs. Mash the Storytelling Cook" loves food and she loves stories.

"Cake for the Fairies" is Mrs. Mash's retelling of this much loved Scottish folk tale from the north of Scotland.

Meet Annie the Baker and the fairies who will go to great lengths to get some of her delicious cake.

When the fairies use their magic to transport Annie to their fairy hill to get some some cake, Annie the Baker must think of a way to get home again, without hurting any of the fairies' feelings.

How does she do It? With a bit of help from her cat and her wee doggie.
