Salty Air and Northern Places: A Collection of Poems by Emma Nicholson

This is an eclectic collection of poems inspired by the beautiful and, at times, gritty landscape, towns and cities of the North of England. Emma Nicholson is a working mother who lives in Harrogate and works in the construction industry in Leeds. She spends her free time with her family visiting and exploring northern places of beauty and historic interest. In her first book she has drawn together poems referring to local landscape, woods, coastal areas, towns, cities and architecture of the North derived from a personal viewpoint of someone who has grown up in North Yorkshire.
