Marta Zgierska: Hsbc Prize for Photography 2016

In 2013, Polish photographer Marta Zgierska (born 1987) survived a serious car accident. The months of surgery, rehabilitation and depression that followed spawned her Post series, an attempt to represent her trauma through fragile photographic images that scrutinize both fear and survival.
