50 years of vacation: A lifelong Passion for Excellence in the Hospitality industry

When the Toulouse Hotel School celebrates in 2016

its centenary, one of its renowned students, Michel P.J.

Noblet, for his part, celebrates a fifty year career of

excellence.

From the provincial neighbourhood of Saint Gaudens

Michel found himself in the cosmopolitan city of Dubai

thanks to his professional success.

As a young adult, Michel’s passion for the hotel

industry set his ambition alight. His graduation from

l’École Hôtelière de Toulouse in 1965 paved the way for

his 50 years of vacation and travels on 5 continents.

This Kaleidoscope journey was punctuated by

challenges, adventures and sometimes doubtful

situations.

A journey of multiple and varied discoveries among

Kings, Princes, Sheikhs, managing directors, CEOs,

employees, refugees, fugitives, Bedouins… The powerful

and the humble.

A journey tinged with achievement, successes, but

also with failures and frustrations.

A journey of a fascinating professional life, of

consuming passion, of an hotelier unlike any other.
