L'Union latine, une experience de souverainetes monetaires partagees (1865-1926)

This work shows why Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, and Switzerland established common rules to govern the issuing and circulation of their gold and silver coins. It also explains how an international treaty was able to impose monetary regulations for sixty years on sovereign states.
