Delle ore ociose / Les Fruits de l'oisivete

Published in Venice in 1656, the collection Delle ore ociose contains all the performed operas for which Busenello wrote the libretti. Among them is the famous Incoronazione di Poppea set to music by Monteverdi. This first bilingual reedition is enriched by copious notes, which highlight the literary and autonomous dimension.
