Judging by its recurrent use in aesthetic treatises, crisis is a major dramaturgical notion; however, it is a notion that remains to be developed, a construction project that this work undertakes-based firstly on an examination of works by Brecht, Weiss, and Bond, then, secondly, works by Horvath, Vinaver, and Crimp.
