Albert Camus et L'Etat de siege: Genese d'un spectacle

L'Etat de siege is the result of the only collaboration between Albert Camus and Jean-Louis Barrault. The show, staged on October 27, 1948 at the Theatre Marigny, is part of Camus' search for a "modern form of the tragic" and Barrault's search for a "total theater."
