Le Conte dans la litterature polonaise du XXe siecle

This book examines the development of the tale in Polish literature between 1890 and 1990. Part one is diachronic and forms the basis for the synchronic second section, which highlights several literary uses of the tale in Poland (symbol, psychology, the grotesque, and science fiction).
