Deke Fagin: Investigator for the syndicate; was assigned a seemingly easy case: FIND OUT WHO KILLED one of ANNIE's girls and a trick who turned out to be WILMA VAN DYKE's son.

But DEKE ran into more than he bargained for...like DOPE...MISSING PERSONS... ADDITIONAL MURDERS and an associate that was working for a new mob which was moving in on the syndicate.
