L'Accident de Menilmontant

Much has been written about the Menilmontant accident which Rousseau describes in the second walk of the Reveries du promeneur solitaire. This work revisits Menilmontant and reconstitutes the accident, taking an interdisciplinary approach which combines history, literature, philosophy, and medicine.
