L'Ecriture de l'histoire dans les chroniques francaises (XIIe-XVe siecle)

This study brings out a poetics of history which highlights the definition and evolution of medieval French historiography. It also leads to a more general reflection on medieval historicity and its criteria, studying the particular way chroniclers used fiction.
